EXPECT THE IMPOSSIBLE

God said, “Stretch out! You’re about to receive blessings you don’t have room enough to receive.”

Enlarge the place of your tent; Stretch out the curtains of your dwelling, spare not; Lengthen your cords and strengthen your pegs. For you will posses nations and will resettle the desolate cities. Isaiah 54:2-3

Would you believe me if I told you that I hear from God? Or would you think I’ve gone crazy? I can tell you there’s truth in both questions so I’ll answer them - yes I truly hear from God and yes I’ve gone crazy! In continuous cultivation of my relationship with Him, I develop crazy hope and faith that stretches me to places I never fathom.

Though, before I go any further I need you along with me to stretch out and get your hopes up…expect the impossible! I know we’re in the last days of 2020, but in Jesus’ name closed doors are about to be opened and if you’re dwelling with God prayers will be answered…suddenly!

I started this posting on November 24th, but God had me stop and write something else; which is the previous post titled “Dwell Here” - read it when you get a chance, if you haven’t already. Now I understand why I needed to pause on this one…went to church today and the pastor spoke about expectancy. I couldn’t post this regarding expectancy without first sharing the importance of dwelling with Him.

Now, when you dwell with Him, expect the impossible! God keeps His promises.

Surely there is a future, And your hope will not be cut off. Proverbs 23:18

Can you trust this? I mean, I know we’ve all been through some things this year and perhaps some things didn’t work on our time. But His timing is always perfect. Even when we don’t see it at the moment, we can trust His heart - He doesn’t lie to us or go back on His promises. Just because you don’t see it yet doesn’t mean you stop expecting it.

God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Numbers 23:19

Faith without works is dead - majority of us may know that scripture right? Well, this time your work is easy…EXPECT!

Expect that job. Expect that house. Expect that child. Expect that promotion. Expect that good health report. Expect that God ordained marriage. Expect that car. Expect that business. Expect that bill to get paid. Expect a yes instead of a no. Expect forgiveness. Expect spiritual growth. Expect Godly people surrounding you. Expect what seems impossible!

God is ready to blow your mind! Even in the uncertain, can you still love, obey, and trust Him? Or are you going to allow misuse from the enemy?

You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4

I choose greater, and this entire year, God has blown my mind and I expectantly know that He’s not done yet and He’s going to do the same for you. Why? Because He is faithful and He desires you to expect good from Him!

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28

As the Clark Sisters sang, “I’m looking for a miracle, I expect the impossible!” I hope you are too! Arise, expect, and get ready for 2021 to be filled with impossibilities that God has made possible! You’re about to receive blessings you don’t have room enough to receive! I love you so much and praying for you!

Xoxo,
